Exciting company, exciting assignments

He has already been with Feyer Consulting for over eight years.  Rune Kvello is a design engineer and is currently involved in ConocoPhillips’ Eldfisk Alpha project. He sees working for Feyer as the best way to keep professionally updated.

“For me it is important that I continually gain experience in different projects. My job in Feyer ensures that I have just this opportunity,” says Rune.

During this time with Feyer he has worked on design for a number of customers, including Statfjord for Statoil to his current job for ConocoPhillips. If it’s not a new project it’s often major modification tasks he’s working on. New piping systems, valves, routes, lay out – the challenges are numerous.

“For me it’s the varied tasks which make the job exciting. Tomorrow is guaranteed not the same as today. Practically all the projects demand tailor-made work,” he says.
“What do you like most about working for Feyer Consulting?”

“First and foremost that I am well taken care of as an employee. Here everything well organised. There is a positive and open culture in the company with direct and clear communication. That is something both I and my colleagues appreciate,” underlines Rune Kvello.

New in Norway, top follow-up in Feyer

He has a passion for pipe design and finding the best technological and practical solutions. Prasanna Hebbar is employed by Feyer Consulting, and is currently assigned to Aibel, one of Norway’s leading engineering companies.
It’s just over seven months since Hebbar came to Norway and started working for Feyer. Back home in India he had already become acquainted with the Norwegian offshore industry. Now he is ready for new challenges here in Norway, in an industry with strong growth and development.

As senior piping engineer he gets to try his hand at the drawing board and offshore on rigs, when required. That suits Prasanna perfectly as then he gets first-hand knowledge of the offshore oil and gas business – where the work is being done.

“If you come from abroad to work in Norway then trust is one of the most important key words. There is no doubt that conditions in India and Norway are very different. Therefore close follow-up is needed, which you get at Feyer.

From day one here at Feyer I have only met people with a positive attitude and everything has been well planned and organised. I’m very pleased with Feyer as my employer, says Prasanna Hebbar.
